Spinach steamed buns

It's green and very appetizing. We used Anqi to rise the dough, which was very soft. We squeezed spinach juice and left it in a hot place for about three hours. It rose to look like Picture 1, which is really super beautiful. After kneading it into dough and cutting it, it looks very much like matcha cakes. Friends who like green will love it to death. We steamed it over high heat for twenty minutes, but it didn't rise like Picture 3. Not knowing where the problem lies makes me very frustrated
